Photo Dial for iPhone: trigger calls from contacts? pictures

iPhone software developers Makayama have released their Photo Dial software, which adds the ability to initiate calls simply by tapping a photo of a contact.  The app, which currently requires a Jailbroken iPhone but Makayama promise will be ported via the official SDK once it's released, pulls the images stored in each contact record, and is triggered by a double-press of the handset's Home key.

Settings include selection of which contacts are included, how many photos are displayed on the screen at any one time (from two upwards) and in which order they are shown.

Right now, loading is via the Installer.app direct on the iPhone (goto Sources > Edit > Add and enter http://tinyurl.com/2t8cax) and there's a trial version available.  Photo Dial for iPhone costs $14.95 until March, and $19.95 thereafter.
